/ CYBERSHAPE® Carbon CWT Truls Edition
The Cybershape family welcomes a new member! It’s the new Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition – a blade with the same superior characteristics as the Cybershape Carbon CWT, but this time, it’s been developed in cooperation with Truls Möregårdh. The result is an upgraded design and specific weights of 3, 6, and 9 grams that are named for Truls’s three favourite shots: his chop block, backhand push, and forehand slap. The weights are easily attached to the bottom of your bat thanks to magnets inside the handle. This allows you to tailor your bat and find the perfect characteristics for your own play.
The Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition is a 5+2-ply blade based on CCF technology (Close Core Fibre), which means that the carbon-fibre layer is applied directly on top of the wood core. This gives you more control while you also benefit from the carbon-fibre speed. The lightweight, technologically advanced carbon fibre also gives the blade more speed without sacrificing balance.
Research has shown that the optimal hitting surface is located on the upper half of the blade. As with our other Cybershape blades, therefore, the hitting surface and sweet spot are larger on the upper half and somewhat smaller on the lower half, thus maintaining the blade’s balance. This innovation has two advantages: the optimal hitting surface is now larger, but the centre of gravity has not shifted upward on the blade. The higher sweet spot also provides a more stable impact and more powerful shots without loss of control. In other words, this unique shape is not just a matter of looks – it gives the player specific advantages that can’t be achieved with traditionally shaped blades.

Adjust the balance point to your playing needs
Playing style, previous experience, and weight of the rubbers mean that preferences vary greatly from player to player. In addition, rubber weights vary, so it’s possible to adapt the blade weight with magnetic weights – thus allowing you to adjust and find the perfect balance. A lower total weight is suitable for players who stay close to the table and prefer faster play. Increased weight brings more kinetic energy, resulting in more powerful shots.

Specifications
What does this mean? At STIGA, we want you to feel completely confident in your choice of equipment. We understand that you want to test, feel and play with the blade before you decide. That's why we now offer the exclusive opportunity to test our blades for 30 days. If you like the blades, keep them! If not, return them to us and get your money back.
How does it work?
1. Choose your blades: Add up to two blades to your basket and complete your order.
2. Test play: Once you've received your blades, we recommend gluing on your favourite rubbers and testing them properly, as it takes some time at the table to get a feel for the playing characteristics of a new racket. (Please note that only STIGA glue may be used. If any other glue is used during test play, we reserve the right to refuse a return).
3. Make up your mind: If you like the blades, keep them! If not, peel off your rubbers and return the frames to us within 30 days from the date of order.
4. Easy returns: If you decide to return, make sure the blades are in acceptable condition and return them to us. Please note that an administration fee of 20 € will be added and deducted from the refund.

Cybershape Carbon CWT Truls Edition is available in three handle styles – Master (Concave), Classic (Straight), and Pen (Penhold). Each handle is crafted from high-quality wood with a refined surface texture that delivers a secure, comfortable grip without slipping – designed for players who demand control and consistency in every shot.
Close Core Fibre (CCF)
The Close Core Fibre technology (CCF) means that the carbon layer sits directly on top of the wood core. The result is more control and speed in your game. When the artificial fibres are applied directly over the wooden core, they preserve the original characteristics of the blade while offering the sensation of an all-wood blade with less vibration. The Close Core Fibre structure provides a longer dwell time.
Co-created with Truls Möregårdh
Developed in close collaboration with Swedish table tennis star Truls Möregårdh, this product reflects the insights of a world-class player. From balance to feel, every detail has been fine-tuned to meet the demands of elite competition. Built with Truls – crafted for champions.
Cybershape
Backed by research with KTH, Cybershape features a larger sweet spot positioned higher on the blade – right where most players hit. This optimised design delivers more power without sacrificing control, enhancing performance where it matters most. The upper half is enlarged for impact, while the lower half is trimmed to maintain perfect balance.
A revolutionary shape for extraordinary feel
Cybershape was born from a bold idea: to let data guide design. Since feel is very subjective and every player has their own preferences, it was important that its shape would not negatively affect the feel of the blade. By combining lab testing with feedback from elite players, we fine-tuned the blade for an optimised feel. Every angle is engineered to give you heightened control and confidence – turning every shot into a statement.
Bigger, optimised sweet spot
The Cybershape design is a game changer in offering a larger sweet spot which extends further out on the blade, closer to where most players prefer to strike and where the optimal hitting area is found both technically and objectively. This means a more powerful playing experience with optimal strokes and control.
Vibration control, redefined
Vibrations tell a story, and Cybershape lets you hear it loud and clear. By analysing how energy transfers to the hand, i.e. how the blade responds when it meets the ball, we created a blade that sharpens your sense of play. Expect clean feedback, improved touch, and a deeper connection between your hand and the game.
Design backed by science
Cybershape is the result of a unique partnership with KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) and our world-class athletes. Together, we tested hundreds of shapes and materials to craft a blade that breaks barriers. It’s built for those who aim higher – with every stroke.
Handcrafted in Eskilstuna, Sweden
Behind each table tennis blade lies many decades of intensive research, development and table tennis experience. Since the end of the 60s, STIGA Table Tennis has been manufacturing its own blades in Eskilstuna, Sweden – genuine craftsmanship by and for world-class table tennis players.
Patent pending
The unique CYBERSHAPE® design is under pending application for design protection.
Customise your game with STIGA CWT
Quickly adjust the blade’s weight and balance using magnetic weights (3, 6, or 9 g). Just attach the weight on the inside at the bottom of the handle to tailor the feel and power to suit your playing style and conditions – more mass means more force and kinetic energy. STIGA CWT (Custom Weight Technology) is engineered for players who demand control, precision, and performance.
Find your perfect balance with STIGA CWT
The blade’s centre of gravity (CoG) plays a key role in feel and performance – whether you prefer a high, low, or neutral balance. With STIGA CWT, you can easily adjust your blade’s weight and balance using magnetic weights, tailoring it to your playstyle and rubber setup. A lighter setup suits close-to-table, fast play, while added weight boosts power and kinetic energy. STIGA CWT is patent pending.
Balance the blade to boost your game
Blade balance is personal. A high centre of gravity adds weight towards the top, boosting power. A low centre suits fast, close-to-table play. Preferences vary with playing style, experience, and rubber weight. With STIGA CWT, you can easily customise your blade’s balance using magnetic weights—giving you full control over feel, speed, and power.
Unique carbon fibre composite
By means of the lightweight and technologically advanced carbon fibre composite, we were able to offset its weight, so although Cybershape has a larger surface area than a regular blade, it is not heavier.
