More environmentally friendly winter games with STIGA Sports' new ECO products

Ahead of the winter season 2023/24, Swedish STIGA Sports is expanding its range of ECO-verified sleds and toboggans. The sled Snowracer® Iconic and the toboggan Pacer are now joined by three more products: the steering toboggan Snowpower, the double toboggan Pacer Duo, and the baby toboggan Baby Cruiser. These products are made from bio-based or recycled plastic, which generates up to 80% lower CO2 emissions compared to a similar product made from conventional plastic.

“There's a clear trend that environmentally conscious thinking is spreading among younger generations. Today, it's not just the parents who demand that the items they get for their little ones should have the smallest possible impact on the environment, even the children themselves have started thinking along these lines. Therefore, it's only natural for us, with many families among our customers, to meet the high expectations of young consumers even when it comes to winter toys,” says Per Andersson, Product Manager at STIGA Sports.

“With the new launches, we also introduce a fresh and attractive color concept in aqua/black for our ECO products. Stylish, recyclable, and climate-smart is a good combination, we think,” adds Per Andersson.

STIGA Sports continuously works to find and implement alternative materials that produce a lower CO2 footprint. High quality, long durability, and local production are some of the factors that contribute to an even more environmentally friendly product range.0
