Still, we’re aware that there’s so much left to do. That’s why we work continually to find and implement alternative materials with a reduced CO2 footprint, and which are therefore better for the environment.
We’re continually expanding our ECO/Bio range so that you can choose even more environmentally friendly products. When you buy an ECO/Bio product from STIGA, you’re also contributing to a more sustainable future.
BIO-BASED PLASTIC
Our products that include plastic components made from bioplastic create 80 % lower CO2 emissions compared to corresponding products with parts made from conventional plastic. Bioplastic is made from sugar cane and is fully renewable. This plastic is also recyclable in current recycling systems, so it supports a more circular chain of re-use.
RECYCLED PLASTIC
Some of our ECO products contain recycled plastic. The environment benefits from this, through lower carbon-dioxide emissions and multiple uses of the same raw material.
