I1 Hybrid Carbon is the result of a long-term development programme that blends materials science with the precision mechanics of table tennis. In collaboration with TeXtreme®, a Swedish company specializing in advanced fibre solutions, STIGA Sports has produced a hybrid weave that is the first of its kind in table tennis – a unique structure combining Innegra™ and carbon fibre in perfect harmony.
STRATEGICAL VENEER PLACEMENT
Although it’s very thin, this hybrid weave is extremely effective. It’s strategically placed in the outer veneer in order to affect the ball immediately on impact. The result is a synergy that gives the player a unique feeling of control, stability, and power in every shot.

For quite some time, we’ve been working in our test lab in Eskilstuna with various fibre combinations, gram weights, and weaves.
