Korpen Svenska Motionsidrottsförbundet and STIGA Sports are teaming up to get more people moving by promoting racket sports

Korpen Svenska Motionsidrottsförbundet and STIGA Sports are now joining forces in a new collaboration in which STIGA Sports will become the official partner for racket sports. The aim is to work together to inspire more people to lead active lives by making racket sports more accessible to Korpen members and activities around the country.

‘We are passionate about getting more people active through the joy of racket sports. Doing this together with Korpen, which reaches so many clubs and exercisers around the country, feels absolutely right. We are really looking forward to contributing both knowledge and products that inspire more activity,’ says Mattias Westerberg, Chief Commercial Officer at STIGA Sports.

‘We are very pleased to be starting this collaboration with STIGA Sports, which is a well-known Swedish player in racket sports. Together, we want to make it even more fun and easier for more people to play,’ says Erik Eng, Secretary General of Korpen Svenska Motionsidrottsförbundet.

The initiative also includes support for Korpen's clubs to organise competition series for recreational players – STIGA Open – in sports such as table tennis, padel, badminton, tennis and pickleball.

 To promote interest and enjoyment of the game, Korpen and STIGA Sports will also produce films with simple tips for recreational players. The films will be distributed via newsletters and digital channels.
