STIGA Sports Strengthens Its Position in Racket Sports with New Pickleball Range Launch
STIGA Sports continues to expand its presence in racket sports and is now launching a new generation of pickleball paddles. With over 80 years of experience in developing table tennis products, the company is taking the next step in one of the world’s fastest-growing sports.
Pickleball has rapidly evolved into a global movement with millions of players. particularly in the United States, where the sport already engages more than 36 million participants. Interest is also growing quickly across Europe and Asia, and STIGA Sports is now strengthening its offering with an updated and improved product range.
“This is a natural step in our evolution as a racket sports company. We see a clear demand for products that combine control, feel, and innovation, areas where we have built our expertise for more than 80 years,” says Andreas Zandrén, CEO of STIGA Sports.
The new range has been developed with a clear focus: to provide players with enhanced control, improved feel, and the ability to extend rallies. Inspired by the precision and technical aspects of table tennis, STIGA Sports has designed paddles that prioritize spin, touch, and stability, key attributes that are becoming increasingly important in modern pickleball.
The launch is also based on insights and feedback from players, as the first generation of paddles sold out quickly. The new range has been further refined to meet the needs of both dedicated recreational players and more advanced competitors.
The new pickleball range consists of three models, each developed for different types of players and playing styles:
AIM – Engineered for Elite Play
A high-performance paddle featuring a 3K carbon and Kevlar surface, designed for players seeking maximum precision, control, and stability in every shot.
AMP – Balanced Performance
A versatile model with a T700 carbon surface and a well-balanced feel, combining control, comfort, and power—ideal for players looking for a reliable all-round paddle.
ADD – Easy to Handle
A user-friendly and forgiving paddle with a fiberglass surface, developed for beginners and players who want to build confidence and control in their game.
All models are USAPA-approved and available in different shapes to suit varying player preferences.
