STIGA Sports launches new Cybershape collection – six padel rackets, one shape, endless possibilities

STIGA Sports now presents the next generation of padel rackets: the new Cybershape collection. With its iconic hexagonal shape, Cybershape has already challenged the traditional way of thinking about racket design. Now, six models are being launched – two brand new additions and four updated versions of previous favourites – all with the same unique geometry but with different characteristics tailored to the needs of players.

‘With Cybershape, we have challenged an entire sport by re-thinking the shape of the racket. The new collection takes the concept even further – with more power, more control and more possibilities for players,’ says Mattias Westerberg, Commercial Manager at STIGA Sports.

The newcomer, the 18K X Hard Cybershape, is the most powerful racket STIGA Sports has ever developed. A harder Power Foam core and reinforced 18K finish create an explosive response, maximum stiffness and a higher sweet spot, allowing players to dominate even in the most intense duels. The model is aimed at competitive players who want to maximise speed and power while maintaining precision.

The second new product, the 1.3K Hard Cybershape, is the natural gateway to the Cybershape world. With 1.3K Carbon Fusion, Performance Foam and a stable 360 Carbon Frame, the racket provides a balanced feel and a response that immediately invites active and confident play from the very first stroke.

The four updated models in the Cybershape 2 series each offer their own character. 3K 2 Cybershape is the stiff, precise choice for players looking for sharp acceleration and a crystal-clear ball strike. 18K 2 Cybershape delivers a softer ball contact and balanced play that provides control even under pressure. 18K Hard 2 Cybershape is designed for players who want a harder response and acceleration on demand. Finally, 18K LW 2 Cybershape offers a lighter alternative that reduces strain on the arm and wrist without compromising control.

The collection has also been tested in wind tunnel studies in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), where the results showed up to 12% lower air resistance compared to traditional racket shapes. This means faster swings, greater precision and an even more dynamic playing experience.
