STIGA Sports introduces AXE 4 – an all-new padel racket in two designs for top performance play

With AXE 4, STIGA Sports enhances its offering to advanced padel players looking for maximal control, response, and stability at playing speeds that demand exceptional precision and an uncompromising choice of materials.

In a first for AXE, Stiga is launching the AXE 4 in two designs, both developed for offensive, high-speed padel.

The AXE 4 Hybrid is characterized by a modern, hybrid shape that delivers a balanced and controlled feel in play, with high stability and predictable response in every shot.

The AXE 4 Cybershape combines AXE-series power with STIGA Sports’s unique, hexagonal Cybershape design, which provides natural acceleration and a larger, more optimized impact surface, compared to traditional round rackets.

“With AXE 4, we wanted to give padel players the opportunity to choose a racket shape to match thier playing style, without compromising on performance. The Hybrid and Cybershape have different kinds of feel in play, but build on exactly the same materials, quality of construction, and technological background,” says John Bandstigen, Product Manager of Racket Sports for STIGA Sports.

Advanced materials for increased padel performance

Both padel rackets are made with exclusive, woven 15K carbon fibre combined with TeXtreme® technology. These materials provide increased racket stiffness, more efficient power transfer, and a stable ball impact – even in high-speed play.

“TeXtreme® makes this possible by combining low weight with high stiffness and control. In AXE 4, this material contributes to quicker response, improved stability, and reduced vibration. These are decisive characteristics in competition-level padel,” says Tomas Josefsson, Chief Commercial Officer of TeXtreme.

AXE 4 Hybrid and AXE 4 Cybershape will be launched in selected Nordic markets on February 18, 2026.
