STIGA Sports strengthens its presence in Finland – welcomes Max Sjövall as a STIGA player

STIGA Sports continues its international expansion in padel and is now taking a clear step into the Finnish market. In connection with this, STIGA Sports is entering into a partnership with Finland's most successful padel player, Max Sjövall, who will become a STIGA player.

Max Sjövall is a key figure in Finnish padel and has been involved in promoting the development of the sport in the country for many years. He has won a total of eleven Finnish championship titles and is the highest-ranked Finnish player of all time in the FIP world rankings. At the end of 2025, he was also named Finland's Male Player of the Year.

He is a key figure in the development of padel in Finland and a perfect ambassador for our brand as we strengthen our presence in the Finnish market. Max represents both performance and long-term thinking – values that are central to STIGA,” says Mattias Westerberg, Chief Commercial Officer at STIGA Sports.

In addition to his elite career, Max Sjövall works as Head of Club Operations at House of Games, where STIGA's padel rackets are now available exclusively for testing in the Helsinki region. The collaboration thus creates another clear link between STIGA Sports and the growth of padel in Finland.

My goal is to continue developing as a player and represent Finland in major international competitions for many years to come,” says Max Sjövall.

The partnership means that Max Sjövall will represent STIGA Sports in competitions and in brand and communication activities going forward.
