Who says that all padel rackets must be round? No one. That’s why we decided to go against the tide – we went to the lab and tested, measured, and tested again. The result is Cybershape, the hexagonal racket-head design that will take your game to new heights. Here are just a few of the advantages of the Cybershape design.
At STIGA Sports, we work continuously to stretch the innovation and performance envelope when we develop new products. For us, it’s a natural part of the process to blaze new trails. We teamed with Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) to perform wind-tunnel tests on Cybershape – tests that are normally reserved for the airspace industry – to ensure the very highest quality and technology in the products we offer to our customers. This collaboration allows us to scientifically validate the aerodynamic superiority of the Cybershape design. Combined with an optimized composition of materials, this creates a very powerful racket that helps you create more speed, naturally and in every shot.
In cooperation with Sweden’s Royal Institute of Technology, STIGA Sports studied a comparison of round and Cybershape-design rackets. The tests show that the Cybershape design increases power transfer. Combined with an optimized composition of materials, this creates a very powerful racket that helps you create more speed, naturally and in every shot. In the wind-tunnel tests with KTH, the Cybershape racket consistently performed well, with up to 12 % less air resistance compared to traditionally shaped rackets. This offers a completely new experience in play, with more dynamics and range of motion. It’s a racket designed to cut moreeffectively through the air.
The hexagonal head offers a larger optimized hitting surface that’s located higher up on the racket, when compared to traditional designs. With this sweet spot that’s both higher and extended further out, you can hit more stable shots without sacrificing control. In other words, this unique shape is not just a matter of looks – it gives the player a maximally optimized hitting surface (with an amazing 20 % larger sweet spot than in round racket heads), which is a specific advantage that can’t be achieved with traditionally shaped rackets.
The Cybershape form factor delivers incredible acceleration. When you hit the ball harder and faster, it gives you enormous power in your shot, while also delivering a sense of total control. What does this mean? At STIGA Sports, we want you to feel completely confident in your choice of padel racket. We understand that you want to test, feel and squeeze the racket before you decide. That's why we now offer the exclusive opportunity to test our padel rackets for 30 days. If you like the rackets, keep them! If not, return them to us and get your money back.
How does it work?
1. Choose your rackets:Add up to two padel rackets to your basket and complete your order.
2. Test Play: Once you receive the rackets, we recommend that you test them properly, as it takes some time on the court before you get a feel for the playing characteristics of a new racket.
3. Make up your mind: If you like the rackets, keep them. If not, return them to us within 30 days of ordering.
4. Easy return: If you decide to return, make sure the rackets are in acceptable condition and return them to us. Please note that an administration fee of 20 £ will be added and deducted from the refund.
