A little more of everything. More speed, more control, and more spin. STIGA Helix Platinum is a world-class table tennis rubber for offensive players who want it all. With a unique sponge construction that delivers up to 11 % more energy return when you make more powerful shots – without exerting more effort.
Helix Platinum is built on the Optimized Energy Sponge – a technology that delivers maximal response thanks to the small pores in the sponge. Without losing feel in play. This rubber also gives you a higher arc and more elasticity, ensuring greater confidence in every duel.
The extra-hard sponge (55 degrees) is ideal for those who want maximum performance in play. This is a premium rubber for players who seek to take control in every point. Developed in Sweden, made in Germany, and designed for world-class players.
These rubbers are available in four variants according to sponge hardness: Helix Platinum M, Helix Platinum H, Helix Platinum XH, and Helix Platinum 55.

What is the HELIX HYBRID?
What makes HELIX PLATINUM unique?
HELIX PLATINUM is not a tacky or sticky rubber. Instead, it uses an elastic topsheet with high friction that provides plenty of spin and grip without the tacky feel often associated with traditional Chinese rubbers.
Is HELIX HYBRID tacky or sticky?
What is the difference between HELIX PLATINUM and DNA PLATINUM?
Both are premium offensive rubbers made in Germany, but HELIX PLATINUM represents the next generation of STIGA's rubber technology. HELIX PLATINUM offers higher energy return, a more consistent ball arc and improved grip, while DNA PLATINUM is characterized by its direct response and powerful PSC sponge.
I currently use DNA PLATINUM. Should I switch to HELIX PLATINUM?
If you appreciate DNA PLATINUM but want even greater energy
return, better grip and a more consistent ball arc, HELIX PLATINUM is the
natural upgrade. Many players will recognize the offensive character while
experiencing a more modern and responsive rubber.
HELIX PLATINUM vs DNA PLATINUM
What is the difference between HELIX PLATINUM and DNA HYBRID?
DNA HYBRID combines a European sponge with a grippier
topsheet for players who want to maximize spin and control. HELIX PLATINUM is
faster and more dynamic, and is primarily aimed at offensive players who want
to generate speed and spin with less physical effort.
HELIX PLATINUM vs DNA HYBRID
How does HELIX PLATINUM compare to DNA DRAGON SERIES?
The DNA DRAGON SERIES is developed for players who
appreciate a Chinese-inspired playing feel with high control and powerful spin.
HELIX PLATINUM offers a more European playing experience with a greater
catapult effect, higher speed and a more forgiving ball trajectory.
HELIX HYBRID vs DNA DRAGON SERIES
HELIX PLATINUM is developed for offensive play close to
the table and at mid-distance. The rubber provides a combination of high speed,
heavy spin and a stable ball arc, making it easier to play aggressively even
under pressure.
Performance & Playing characteristics
What blade pairs best with HELIX PLATINUM?
HELIX PLATINUM works exceptionally well with offensive blades such as Cybershape Carbon, Cybershape Carbon CWT, Destiny Carbon Cybershape and I1 Hybrid Carbon Cybershape. For players who prioritize feel and control, offensive all-wood blades can also be a good choice, such as Cybershape Wood and Clipper Cybershape.
Blade recommenations
HELIX PLATINUM is aimed at players seeking the same type of
high-performance offensive rubber as the leading European premium rubbers on
the market. The focus is on speed, grip, energy transfer and a consistent ball
trajectory.
