Press release, December 2025
One of Sweden's most successful racket sports players, Anna-Klara Ahlmer, is now starting a collaboration with STIGA Sports. With four World Championship gold medals, 57 international titles and 18 Swedish Championship gold medals under her belt, the world number one continues to put Swedish racketlon on the world map. She has previously represented STIGA Sports in table tennis, but is now expanding the collaboration to include all the sports she is active in.
"We at STIGA Sports are extremely pleased to be able to start a collaboration with Anna-Klara Ahlmer. Her outstanding ability to combine four different racket sports and reach the absolute top of the world reflects exactly what we stand for: versatility, cutting-edge expertise and passion. Anna-Klara has not only dominated her sport at home, but has also become an international role model. We are proudly looking forward to what we can achieve together," says Mattias Westerberg, Commercial Manager at STIGA Sports.
Ahlmer began her sporting career as a tennis player in Luleå but discovered racketlon while studying in Gothenburg – a sport that combines tennis, table tennis, badminton and squash. Since her first Swedish Championship gold medal in 2016, she has won every national championship she has competed in and in 2024 became the first Swede ever to win a World Championship gold medal in mixed doubles.
In addition to racketlon, she also competes at a high national level in both padel and pickleball and has represented Sweden in the national padel team, among other things. As well as being an elite player, she is also chair of the Swedish Racketlon Federation and Sweden's representative in the international federation.
"Racketlon caught my attention straight away – there is something unique about being challenged in four sports at once. To now be able to represent STIGA Sports, a brand with such strong roots in racket sports, feels both natural and inspiring. I look forward to continuing to develop and at the same time helping to raise awareness of racketlon," concludes Anna-Klara Ahlmer.
