Developed and designed in cooperation with Truls, this bat is ideal for those who want an offensive play with plenty of speed.
The blade consists of 5 wood layers and 2 carbon-fibre layers. The optimized hitting area of this Cybershape bat is larger compared to that of traditionally shaped bats. This means your returns get closer to the table owing to the blade’s impressive 6.5 cm2 hitting area, compared to 2.5 cm2 for a round blade. The two carbon-fibre layers are made with the Touch Carbon technology that gives you an ultimate bat of superb quality. The lightweight, technologically advanced carbon fibre compensates for the somewhat larger blade – so despite its larger total area, the STIGA Cybershape design is not heavier.
The blade works in complete harmony together with the concave handle and the ITTF-approved STAR5 rubbers, ensuring that you can improve your play while achieving more control. The STAR5 rubber is the most advanced of the STAR series, and will help you increase speed and spin.
According to our research, most players have their optimal hitting area in the upper half of the blade. This is why we wanted to create a bat that’s easy to play, but that also offers opportunities to take your game to new heights.
