Technique training for ambitious ice hockey players - new product area for Swedish STIGA Sports

In perfect timing for the start of the bare ground training season in June, STIGA Sports is launching a product line for Hockey Technique training. This is a completely new area for one of the world's most respected brands in the sports and leisure sector.

Ambassadors for the STIGA Sports Hockey Technology training range are former NHL professional and national team player Peter "Foppa" Forsberg, future prospects Stella Lindell and Mina Waxin, both representing Brynäs IF, as well as Hampus Zirath, IFK Tumba Hockey.

More than 60 years ago, STIGA made history in ice hockey by supplying hockey sticks to the greatest players of the time. Now they have found their way back to their heritage.

- We know that it takes so much more than just time on the ice to become good at hockey and create the best results; dedication, passion, training and the right tools. Training and technique are a big part of the sport, therefore we want to give all young hockey players a chance to improve their skills and take their hockey to a new level, says Anders Axberg, product manager for Hockey Technique training at the Eskilstuna company STIGA Sports.
