The revolutionary Cybershape design from STIGA Sports.
The future is here! Cybershape Wood is the second table tennis blade in the Cybershape family with the revolutionary shape that took Truls Möregårdh to the 2021 World Cup final. Cybershape Wood is a factory-lacquered, offensive blade that is made up of five exclusive wooden layers and developed to work optimally with a wide range of STIGA's table tennis rubbers. This makes Cybershape Wood a blade that suits the majority of playing styles.
In addition to the unique Cybershape design delivering a larger sweet spot and optimized hitting area, the shape also provides clear advantages when it comes to game development and improving technical skills. The six edges of the blade make it easier to see and find the correct angle using different strokes. Both players and coaches benefit from being able to easily see and ensure that the angle of the blade is correct at the beginning and end of a forehand loop, or that the player has the bat at the correct angle when receiving.
Cybershape Wood is the perfect blade to start your career with and will also help you continue to progress all the way up to elite level.
The Cybershape Wood blade is available in two different variants. The difference between these variants is that they come: WITH or WITHOUT Custom Weight Technology (STIGA CWT).
Description
Specifications
What does this mean? At STIGA, we want you to feel completely confident in your choice of equipment. We understand that you want to test, feel and play with the blade before you decide. That's why we now offer the exclusive opportunity to test our blades for 30 days. If you like the blades, keep them! If not, return them to us and get your money back.
How does it work?
1. Choose your blades: Add up to two blades to your basket and complete your order.
2. Test play: Once you've received your blades, we recommend gluing on your favourite rubbers and testing them properly, as it takes some time at the table to get a feel for the playing characteristics of a new racket. (Please note that only STIGA glue may be used. If any other glue is used during test play, we reserve the right to refuse a return).
3. Make up your mind: If you like the blades, keep them! If not, peel off your rubbers and return the frames to us within 30 days from the date of order.
4. Easy returns: If you decide to return, make sure the blades are in acceptable condition and return them to us. Please note that an administration fee of 20 € will be added and deducted from the refund.

Cybershape Wood, with its 5-layer wood construction, forms a dynamic racket system when paired with STIGA CWT and various rubbers. Softer rubbers offer great control – ideal for beginners or players who prioritise feel. For more speed, pair with harder rubbers. This versatile blade adapts to your style and level, making it the perfect foundation to build and grow your game.
Crafted for comfort and control
Cybershape Wood CWT comes in three handle styles – Master (Concave), Classic (Straight), and Pen (Penhold) – to suit your grip preference. Each handle is crafted from premium wood with a textured finish for a secure, non-slip hold. The stainless steel lens adds a striking detail, shifting colour with light and angle, blending performance with a sleek, modern look.
Cybershape
Backed by research with KTH, Cybershape features a larger sweet spot positioned higher on the blade – right where most players hit. This optimised design delivers more power without sacrificing control, enhancing performance where it matters most. The upper half is enlarged for impact, while the lower half is trimmed to maintain perfect balance.
A revolutionary shape for extraordinary feel
Cybershape was born from a bold idea: to let data guide design. Since feel is very subjective and every player has their own preferences, it was important that its shape would not negatively affect the feel of the blade. By combining lab testing with feedback from elite players, we fine-tuned the blade for an optimised feel. Every angle is engineered to give you heightened control and confidence – turning every shot into a statement.
Bigger, optimised sweet spot
The Cybershape design is a game changer in offering a larger sweet spot which extends further out on the blade, closer to where most players prefer to strike and where the optimal hitting area is found both technically and objectively. This means a more powerful playing experience with optimal strokes and control.
Vibration control, redefined
Vibrations tell a story, and Cybershape lets you hear it loud and clear. By analysing how energy transfers to the hand, i.e. how the blade responds when it meets the ball, we created a blade that sharpens your sense of play. Expect clean feedback, improved touch, and a deeper connection between your hand and the game.
Design backed by science
Cybershape is the result of a unique partnership with KTH (Royal Institute of Technology) and our world-class athletes. Together, we tested hundreds of shapes and materials to craft a blade that breaks barriers. It’s built for those who aim higher – with every stroke.
Grip styles for every player
At STIGA Sports, we offer a range of blade grips to match your playing style. Penhold is compact and conical – perfect for fast, close-table play. Classic is flat and straight, ideal for quick grip changes and versatility. Master features a concave shape for a secure, balanced feel with reduced slip. With the right grip, you’re ready to unlock your full potential.
Handcrafted in Eskilstuna, Sweden
